The world has changed. Over any kind of digital connection, bots can be indistinguishable from humans. How will we maintain human-to-human, social relationships in a digital world full of bots? Julia Social is on a mission to privacy-protecting digital identities that people can use to interact with other humans online.
We named the company Julia after the one character in George Orwell's book 1984 that was able to maintain her personal agency in a world dominated by "Big Brother" surveillance by protecting her privacy.
At Julia Social, we think a lot about what would happen if we got hacked and every bit of data was stolen and made public. What could the attackers learn and use? Protecting people's privacy starts with protecting their privacy from ourselves at Julia Social.
Ken Griggs
Ken Griggs is the founder of Julia Social. He has a long history of innovation, starting with many years in speech recognition research and more recently in developing applications to run on the Chia blockchain while in the role of Vice President of Customer Success at Chia Network Inc. He left CNI to start Julia Social.

James Hoerr
James Hoerr is the engineering lead for Julia Social. He was previously a major contributor to the Evergreen Miner project, an easy at-home "farming" device for the Chia blockchain. He is also the creator of Druid Garden and the Chia FastFarmer.
